We have discovered an issue post the 1.18 update where players ranked Mythril or above were mistakenly deducted 100 RP despite having grace points left. Our team is actively investigating this problem and is in the process of implementing a fix.

A significant update was made to the scheduling server on April 1st at 9 AM (UTC). We anticipate that it will take a few days to fully assess whether the live server's scheduling adjustments are functioning as expected.

As for restoring the erroneously deducted RP, we are exploring the best approach to address this and will issue a follow-up announcement detailing whether a mass or individual restoration process will be utilized.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this issue.

We will be rolling out the 1.18a Hotfix at 11:30 AM (UTC).

[Fixes]

• Downed State Durability Adjustment
  • Base HP 600 → 400
    
  • Damage Taken Reduction 40% + Target Level*2.5% → 30% + Target Level*2.9%

We're reducing the overly high durability when characters are downed. However, to ensure that the strategy of attacking downed characters first does not become excessively dominant after the temporary safe zone phase, we will make it stronger in the later part of late game compared to the previous version (up to 1.17).

* Only points from Ranked matches started before October 25th at 23:59 (UTC) will be included.
* All ranked rewards are given out based on your tier at the end of the season.
* Accounts with a total ban record of 14 days or longer are ineligible for ranked rewards.

We are keeping you guys updated regarding some of the recent server issues.

• Sept. 15th, 1:50PM, 2:20PM (UTC) - there were two instances of DDoS attacks during those times, which were addressed by adjusting the DB. However, the server suffered from server issues during the duration of the adjustment.
  
• Sept. 15th, 3:45PM (UTC) - we made further adjustments to the settings to embolden the servers to alleviate future problems. Adjustments may have caused server instability over a 10-min period.

The servers are stabilized at the moment, but the DDoS attacks are continuing. Once we have fully solved the issues of server instability in all servers, we will update everyone with a different post including compensations.

We apologize for the inconveniences caused by the repeated server instability.

There have been a series of DDoS(Distributed Denial of Service) causing multiple instances of server issues throughout the last few weeks. We will continue to defend against the attacks by strengthening our servers, but different patterns of attacks have required different solutions, causing delays like today.

We've noticed there's some ocasional server instability and we're doing our best to solve it quickly.

It was confirmed that the Data Key was not provided for the SUNDAYER coupon reward, and was corrected around 3:57 PM (UTC) on July 29th.

If you redeemed your coupon before that time and didn't receive a Data Key, we'll send you two to your in-game mailbox.

An issue was found in which items were duplicated. This loophole in the system is our fault, and we'll be fixing it as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

However, intentionally using duplicate acquisitions is a clear case of cheating and will result in a suspension in both Normal and Ranked Matches, and Ranked Matches will result in the forfeiture of Rank Points. This behavior is clearly evidenced by replays or other means, so we ask that players who play normally not abuse this feature.

Also, if you see any cases of abuse, please report them to our Support Team.

We apologize again for any loopholes in the system and will do our best to ensure that normal play is not disrupted.

It's been a week since we launched Eternal Return 1.0.

Thankfully, many players have come to Lumia Island exceeding our expectations. This doesn't mean the game is ready to go, but it does mean that a lot of people have been waiting for the Official Launch.

We sincerely apologize to our players for their patience, and for the many ways in which we've disappointed them, including the UI and other ways in which we've fallen short of their expectations.

And we deeply appreciate all our players for putting up with the discomfort and continuing with Eternal Return.

Today's Dev Journal will cover the Frame Report.

There's a saying in the game industry that you should never make optimization promises. There's a lot of variation in player experience because the overall optimization improvements don't apply equally to everyone, and even if the overall optimization improves, there's always a chance that one particular operation will pop up that causes problems, so it becomes a never-ending process. So we’re going to be very careful about bringing up optimization in this Dev Journal.

Optimization was a top priority internally as we prepared for Eternal Return 1.0.
Squad Mode in particular had the most frequent framerate issues, and with 24 players, we were concerned that if we didn't optimize it, the game might not even be viable.

Today’s Dev Journal will cover the 4th update of changes for characters!

As we've seen in the last three Dev Journals, skill utility is often added or lessened based on its use in Squad.

First, Nicky’s Short Tempered has been reworked. Nicky will still be short tempered, but that will no longer be a trigger for her skills.

Body Blow (Q2) will only activate when you hit Slugfest (Q1), Guard (W) will no longer have a reduced cooldown on success, and Reverse (W2) will slow enemies instead of rooting them.

You can now use Fury Jab!! (Enhanced E) after a successful Guard.



Pure Rage Uppercut!! (R) can also be used with or without Short Tempered. Of course, it's still more beneficial to use it with a full Short Tempered because it deals more damage.
